Muhammad Abeed Atif
Mr. Muhammad Abeed Atif is an experienced Intellectual Property & Corporate Lawyer with a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry. He is the Joint Head of Corporate, Commercial & IP Department. In addition to this he heads the Banking, Civil and Commercial Group at AL-RAHIM. Other than his expertise as an Intellectual Property Attorney, He specializes in debt finance, including acquisition finance, asset-based lending, corporate and commercial banking, property finance, trade finance and syndications. Mr. Abeed advises lenders and borrowers on wide variety of transactional and finance matters, as well as refinancing and restructuring of bank finances and securities. Mr. Abeed is a skilled litigator, which comes from his experience as a tutor of Advance Levels Law; Cambridge International, at the prestigious University College Lahore which is an affiliate institute of University of London. He has also served as the Teacher’s Assistant for Contract Law at the University College Lahore. In addition to this, he has also polished his judgment drafting skills by assisting in the drafting of Judgments for several independent state bodies. Mr. Abeed has a broad experience of commercial disputes including managing banking recovery and winding up disputes through national and international courts, as well as through arbitration, adjudication and mediation. Mr. Abeed frequently represents both borrower and financers in large scale and complex banking recovery disputes and applies extensive knowledge to advising on mitigating the risk and impact of litigation. Mr. Abeed also specializes in all aspects of property related disputes and acts for wide range of clients including large companies, corporations, investors, developers as well as individuals. His experience is in all areas of property laws including landlord and tenant work, contractual claims and development issues and matters relating to mortgages and winding ups.
